Strong Traction Where
Weather and Work Meet
Your outdoor yards and feed areas take a beating, rain, mud, freezing, and thawing all wear down smooth concrete. Our outside lot grooving helps maintain traction year-round, even when surfaces are wet or icy. The result: safer footing for your livestock and workers, less downtime, and longer-lasting concrete.
Outdoor concrete is constantly exposed to the elements.
Without proper grooves, moisture builds up, manure collects, and surfaces turn slick fast. Equipment traffic and temperature changes make things worse — turning flat concrete into a slipping hazard for cattle and crew.
Our Solution
Real Traction cuts deep, precise grooves that channel away water and debris. Each pattern is customized for your surface grade, traffic type, and weather conditions. The grooves create solid grip without trapping waste, making them easier to keep clean and functional through every season.
OUR GROOVING PROCESS
SAFE, PRECISE, & EFFICIENT
FROM START TO FINISH.
Concrete grooving adds traction to alleyways and work areas, helping reduce slips and improve animal and worker safety. Here’s what the process looks like on your farm:
BEFORE
WE BEGIN
Your Part
• Clear the area:
In existing facilities, remove manure; in new facilities, remove construction debris.
• Move animals:
Remove cows from the alleyway scheduled for grooving.
On-Site
Our part
• Set-up & Calibration:
Our crew arrives with specialized grooving equipment and prepares the work zone.
• Dust Suppression:
We connect our machines to your on-farm water source to control dust while we work.
• Precision Grooving:
Our operators cut uniform grooves to the specified pattern and depth for reliable traction.
• Final Check & Handoff:
We review the finished surface and confirm readiness for your normal cleaning routing.
After Grooving
Daily Care
• Routine Cleaning:
Once complete, the floors can be cleaned using your regular daily cleaning equipment.
